Daniel Gitelman
Hi! I'm Daniel, a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, where I'm completing my Master's degree in Machine Learning.
Before that, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Data Science.
I enjoy solving practical problems using machine learning and AI. Previously, I've completed internships at Databricks, DRW, and the San Diego Supercomputer Center.
When I'm not working on data science, I enjoy playing jazz trombone. I'm really drawn to the freedom of improvisation and the connection of making music with other people - reach out if you're interested in jamming together!
